Okay I am lame. Redbox was a stop for my Friday night activities. I was looking for something interesting. Someone dying of cancer was not my first choice of a fun night.  I thought what the hell it is only a dollar and some change. This was a good movie. I give it a B+. I didn’t really like the acting of the therapist. She brought the movie down in my opinion. Her character didn’t ring true. It really seemed like she was trying to hard.

The main character Adam played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt was done very well. I know you hear that name and you think who the hell is that. The funny thing is when you see his face you know he has been in many movies. I just couldn’t think of any of them. He is an easily forgettable character. Just like Sarah Jessica Parker before Sex in the City. Seth Rogen who played his best friend did a good job also. He always seems to play the same character. A cool friend that likes to have fun and talk shit. Well if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. He does a great job playing that character and this movie was no different.

I did have tears in my eyes at the end. Under 30 and going through bullshit of possible death. I don’t know how I would deal with it. I really felt for this guy. Even thought the movie seemed quick, but moved slow. I remember watching Beaches (Yes the chick flick most women knows) that movie seemed very long but moved very quickly. All in all I did like the movie.

It does make you look at your life and start to appreciate. It can always happen to you!!!

The story lines could be deep but was very after school special. Aaron Spelling had another hit on his hands. The show was on entirely too long. After they finally graduated high school I lost interest in the series. With the success of the show you really felt these actors were going to have great careers.

Shannen Doherty was part of the original cast.  She was no stranger to acting. She had been acting as a child. She was on Little House on the Prairie. She was also a big fan of drama and a  diva. It was rumoured that she was a bad influence on Aaron Spellings daughter who was also a cast member. The two girls got into some drama and that was one of the reasons she was let go. Also bad attitude didn’t help. Which is also the reason she left Charmed. Another show that was doing well. Shannen couldn’t get over the attention given to her cast member Alyssa Milano on that show. Her attitude has not done her well at all.

Everyone thought Luke Perry was going to be one of the greats. That was far from the truth his career didn’t do much after the end of the show.

Brian Austin Green career in acting didn’t seem to go to far. He did marry the hot thing from the transformer movie. Megan Fox, so I guess he is alright!!Last but not least.Tori Spelling. I was convinced she got the job because it was her fathers show. They kept her virginity through most of the series.  I guess her father couldn’t deal with his daughter having make-believe sex on the small screen. My friends and I would talk about how unattractive she is.  She was not one of the looker of the show at all.

Now all of these cast members have done a bunch of TV movies. Tori Spelling is now the reality show queen. None of these cast members have done anything exceptional to me. I did love the show for those four-year. It was very teeny booperish.

It doesn’t compare to the soap opera my mom would watch.

Dynasty was one of Aaron Spellings greats. The drama on this show was off the chain. My mom wouldn’t let me watch the show. I would sneak a few episodes.  They even invited Diahann Carrol to the cast. As the half black illegitimate sister of one of the cast members.

Lets not forget Dallas

These shows were a bunch of rich people acting crazy. People would watch it ever week without fail. Dallas big cliff hanger, How killed JR. Long story but these shows were the great days of television. We might need another Aaron Spelling to put the piazzas back in TV.

Barry Gordy knew what he was doing not to put her picture on her first album. She was accepted for her voice not her color. What I find totally amusing is a lot of white people have no idea who she is.

I asked a friend if she knew Teena Marie. She had no idea who I was talking about. The black community of my age bracket and early know exactly who she was. The first song rattled off being Fire and desire she and Rick James sung together.

I love the story of her life. It was not rattled with drugs. She lived her life the way she wanted and sang the songs she wanted to sing. She fit right in with the black community and was never down played for her skin color. A great mark of acceptance of our time. She died to early and will be missed.

The one thing she said many times in her interview was one of her greatest accomplishments was her daughter.

I love the music of this time. It was marked with originality. Something I feel is missing these days. This is when music was music. These people knew how to sing and play instruments. They were the greats. What confirms their greatness is how much they are sampled. I am going to leave with one of my favorite Teena Marie songs.

I have to say I am still a Prince groupie. I have been listening to the CD of all his hits for weeks. I have to say this man knows how to make mind orgasms. I have been a prince fan since I was a child. I didn’t understand his songs when I was young. They meant something totally different when I got older. He had an androgynous look that only he can get away with. I have never been attracted to men who have feminine characteristic. I was talking to a friend and we both agreed if Prince picked us we would go with no argument. Did I mention I am six-foot tall and this man can’t be over 5’5 with his heels on. I am still in love with prince.

His songs and lyrics make you think he is a sexual demon. Get off, 32 positions in a one night stand. Darling Nikki, masturbating to a magazine. A lot of his outfits looked like he got them from a sex shop. Chaps with the butt hanging out. Half naked grinding on the stage floor. My infatuation was complete after watching the movie Purple Rain. The first movie I saw boobs when Apollonia takes her top off for prince and shows bear skin.

I could listen to Prince every day. Which I have been for weeks. Raspberry Beret, If I was your girlfriend, You got that look, are my favorite. I know I will never meet this man. The new generation cannot understand the mark he made on my life. How his music makes him beyond legendary.

It really showed in this movie. The one saving grace is I got this movie from Red box. A dollar and some change. The cheap price made me less mad of spending twenties minutes of time watching this crappy movie. Time I will never get back. I advise you if you are looking for entertainment, Do not to rent this movie.

I have a bad habit of finding TV shows after they are in reruns. My list is very long a few being Star Trek, Quantum Leap. The Big Bang Theory was the next on my list. I started watching this show when it started rerunning over and over again on TBS. I find myself watching each episode and laughing my ass off. In ever high school guys like this exist. The nerds with the lack of social skills and women in their lives. The shows is centered around a group of scientist and a aerospace engineer that work at a local university. An attractive blond wannabe actress named Penny moves across the hall from two of the scientist that starts an interesting relationships.

This show is smart and witty and beyond funny. The cast works great together and the chemistry works. I have to give a thumbs up to the writers and the cast director. I also love that characters from my old favorite T.V. shows make regular appearances. Sarah Gilbert who dated one of the main characters as Darlene Connor on Roseanne. She actually has the same attitude and mannerisms as she had on Rosanne.

Mayim Bialik also makes an appearance. She was the main character from the show Blossom. I love her character. She is the suto girlfriend of one of the main characters Sheldon. The relationship does not include any intimacies or actually touching. She has semi homosexual tendencies with her crush on the blond neighbor Penny. Which she has labeled as her besti.

I do like the main characters but my favorite characters are the supporting actors. Wolowitz, is one of my favorites. He is a horny Jewish man with a masters from MIT. He lives with his mother with big mommy issues. He is constantly trying to find a woman and have sex. He is crude and rude having no clue of how to communicate with women. Koothrappali is also one of my favorites. He is a PhD from India that cannot talk to women unless drunk. When he is with the guys he always has something to say that throws you off and makes you laugh. Such as the guys were going to a bar and he blurts out ” we are going to meet women to hit and quite it.”

Now I am addicted to this show. I know anyone can get a laugh. I suggest you take a view. A friend of mine found the show and now instantly love it also.

All this started on Saturday. I have been doing an hour on the treadmill at a 4.0 incline. I have been burning around 500 calories every time I am there. So I have been to the gym. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and I am going today which is Friday. On Tuesday I did P90x chest and back, then on Thursday Shoulders and arms. I am on the beach body road. I am going to do my cardio at the gym. I have to say it is more entertaining than watching a video. I do a lot of people watching at the gym. I have been jazzed to go this time around. Yes I have joined to many damn gyms. Which I never really used. I have been gun hoe this time. I hope it sticks. So far so good.

I need to lose 25 pounds and tone up. Then I can actually have a beach body as they claim on the P90x box. A co-worker informed today she has lost 20 pounds with P90X. Here is to motivation!!!

A couple that met at over-eaters anonymous is beyond original. I thought that was great. Who ever is writing this show has an eye for comedy. It is funny. Especially the families. Molly mother being slutty and her sister a weed head. Is beyond funny with Mike being a Chicago cop.  Mike mom is no better. A spinsters shut in type of woman with a crazy dog and a bad attitude.

My aunt told me about this show. It is presently in its second season. I came in the middle of the first season. I was pissed off it wasn’t on demand. I was on a mad search to see the episodes I missed. I finally found them on a bootleg website. I am very glad I didn’t get a virus. Since the website was a bit suspicious. It was worth it to catch up with the storyline. This turned into one of my favorite show.

Now the bad news Charlie’s Angels sucked.

I was waiting for this show. I thought I was going to be impressed. I was very impressed with Hawaii 50 which I wasn’t inspecting. I am not a big fan of remakes. Well Charlie’s Angels couldn’t hold my attention for longer than ten minutes. I turned the channel. The personalities of the characters were not interesting. They didn’t have any kind of edge. The casting and the writing would have to be revamped for me to give this show a second thought. Since I doubt that will happen I will not be tuning into this show again.

If I was to pick a party it would be independent. I feel every election is a choice between two evils. It all sounds good when they are trying to get your vote. They promise things they can’t get done. They are all working for us the people. ( can barely say that with a straight face)

I am not convinced.

This country is a mess financially. The Republicans want to throw blame and claim they know how to fix it. I have no confidence. It was during their reign that we got in this mess. Yes admit that George Bush did not come into an office with a deficit. I don’t care how much you hate Obama or the democrats just admit that shit!!!. Not going to happen they admit nothing.

As I said I have issue with both side. Throwing money at the problem is not an answer. I do believe we need social programs. Yes I do even thought I benefit from none of them. Yes I am part of the working poor. The middle class. I pay all the taxes get no services and minimal tax breaks. Yes that is me the sucker of this country.

I have no problem with money given to the needy or to help the economy. I have a problem when no one watches what is going on with the money. Yes that is right. Democrats throw money at a problem and don’t put much in place to fix the problem. Or even watch the money given out for all the scam artist ready to line their pockets. Hence all the fraud that goes on. Medicaid, social security, Welfare.

Yes our government gives out money and no one is watching who is taking it. You want to blame the poor, or that doctor who’s racked up millions in medicare fraud.  He got that money because no one was paying attention. So I guess the blame is on our government.

I remember Obama saying he was going to balance the budget by going through every line and get rid of waste. I don’t think that happened. I can’t blame the man. Everyone makes promises during a campaign. Oh yeah we were getting out of the war. I guess getting out of it is just moving it from Iraq to Afghanistan.

I was happy when the medical bill was passed. I thought that would be great. Especially since I know a lot of people without medical insurance. Why did I waste my time getting happy. I live in a state who is going to make sure that doesn’t go down here. That is right GA. So even if the president passing something I can’t benefit from it. Wow I am starting to wonder what voting does for me.

I could careless who is president. Yes I was happy a black man is president. I never thought that would happen in my lifetime. It was nice to be alive to see it happen other than on t.v. series. Which is so funny and racist in itself because he is just as much white as black. Hey who said racism does not exist in this country? They must be blind dumb and deaf. The old rules apply. If you have a drop of black you are black.

It is funny when people assume because you are black you voted for Obama. I hate to break it to you black people do not have that much voting power. BLACK PEOPLE did not get him elected.

As I said I could careless about the color of the person running our country. What I want which I don’t think I am in the minority.

1) Jobs yes we can’t do a damn thing without jobs. We can’t pay mortgages. So foreclosures are not going anywhere if people aren’t employed. That is basic math. Maybe I am the only one who passed elementary school. If you have nothing coming in but unemployment. Why should a bank work with you? When the country decided to cut unemployment off the house is in foreclosure again. So just delaying the inevitable.

2) Health Insurance- Yes I thought it was a great idea. It shows the government cares about you. So yes I want to be able to get insurance if I went through cancer. That damn preexisting condition.

3) Welfare Now lets face it. There will always be poor people. They are not the cause of this big deficit. People want to blame the poor but the pure facts they are not to blame. Wars and space programs and other government spending is to blame.

4) Basic Yes such as teachers. Our kids are going to beyond stupid and the country isn’t going to be worth shit anyway. Cops, Firemen, I pay taxes and can’t have basic protections. So I get raped by tax rates and get fewer services back. Thank you government for helping me so much.

5) Social Security- Yes I don’t want my mother eating cat food. It isn’t a lot of money in the first place. Everyone’s 401k’s went to hell so what are we supposed to do. When you get to old get ready to live in a card board box. Thanks again government.

6) Tax the damn rich You will still be rich what are you bitching about.

I am sick of the debates. These political officials are more concerned about making each other look bad than fixing this country.  It is clear the people are of no concern. We are just at the mercy of these people the Republicans and the Democrats

I decided to marry my two favorite things. I love reading entertainment gossip. I have no idea why.  I am caught up in famous people lives. Well I am satisfied that I am not the only one who reads up on famous people’s randomness.  Biggie Smalls said it in his lyrics (For those who don’t know he is a rapper) More money more problems.

So it is nice to see the rich and famous have problems. I know that sounds bad, but I have to say I don’t care.

So now I will have blogs with my opinion on gossip. Will I substantiate this gossip? No!!! I don’t know these people personally. I am just a person who reads gossip weather that is online, in the checkout line or Wikipedia.

The person I am sick of reading about (yes some of these people can beat things to death). Kim Kardashian is a name I am sick of hearing and reading. What people don’t realize is she is not the first one  famous for completely no reason.

The Gabor sisters also played their hand with this. They were famous for completely no reasons. Especially since they were not particular talented. They came to this country and were social-lites and married old men with money.

This new breed of attention whores are different then the old school ones. I remember Kim Kardashian as a friend of Paris Hilton another person I didn’t want to read about. Yeah that is right there was a time no one gave a damn about Kim Kardashian. Here is a picture of Kim before all the plastic surgery. When she was one of Paris’s rich childhood friends.

I wouldn’t be shocked if she sold her soul to devil to get this so-called fame she possess. I don’t have a problem with famous people. They just need to be famous for a legitimate reason. These girls have clear self-esteem issues. They don’t need the money.  Most people don’t realize these girls were born with a silver spoon in their mouths.  Actually Kim’s father was a respected successful lawyer. He is actually was on the dream team that got OJ out of a murder conviction.  He probably would be turning over his grave with his children foolishness. So why do they want the whole world in their business. The usual celebrity tries to get the general public out of their lives. These girls want all their bad decisions all over the damn place for all to see.

The only reason Kim Kardashian is famous is because she screwed a not that successful R&B singer. Regardless of what she does from here on in, that is how she got in the spot light. She is a hoe and doesn’t want people to remember that is how she achieved her status.

The apple doesn’t fall from the tree. Her mother doesn’t mind pimping out her kids for fame. I can’t bring myself to watch the show or any of the spins offs. I only see the commercials when I am watching something else. To prove my point her own brother called her a whore on her reality show.  She was commenting on his life in a negative way. I agree with him. Her opinion on her brother doesn’t have any validity when she went from porn start to reality show queen. I will give her credit she has pimped her whoring into an enterprise.  Kim should have given Heidi Fleiss some lessons. (The high class madam to celebrities like Charlie Sheen.)

Now everyone is taking bets to see how long Kim’s marriage will last. I give a possible two years. He knew what he was getting when he married her. A person who only concern is staying relevant. Just like  Super Head and her book. (The video vixen who wrote a book about all her indiscretions with married men in the music industry) In every interview she wanted to act like she was famous for more than her random sexual encounters.
